In passing through the historical city centre near Albertina, we found a strange statue which was splitted up into two parts. The monument has its significance to remind the Austrians on the terrors of war. Recommend to tourists to visit this spot.

The Gate of Violence Monument "Mahnmal Statue" located in the old town in front of the Albertina Museum, this statue against War and fascism !! it's very easy to get there.

This is an interesting and thought provoking place to visit. It's very close to the historic city centre and I'd certainly recommend you take the time to have a look.

One of the few monuments to those killed in Austria during all the wars this country has witnessed. Especially important to remember the Nazi ties to Austria.
