Very impressive building and grounds. Visited the zoo which was good value and plenty to see. The maze & train was closed due to the time of year we visited but was pleasant walking round. Easily spend 4 hours or more here.

I purchased the Grand Tour ticket which allows you to visit 40 rooms of the Habsburg’s summer palace. Included in the price of your ticket is an audio guide which does a fine job providing a history of the family and the rooms. I imagine...More

We visited on Monday, it was lovely, so quiet and therefore no waiting! The rooms are amazing and beautifully furnished, we spent a pleasurable one hour wandering through. The Christmas market outside was like the rest in Vienna, lots of stalls but mostly of the...More

We went this time only for the Strudelsow wich is taking place in a very nice and big room in the basement of the restaurant. The show ( preparation) was funny and the strudel delicious. The Christmas Market at Schonbrum is less nicer than the...More

We Took the ground winter tour and we do think it’s worth taking the time to see Austrian Imperial history. The audio tour is very informative and we would recommend it. However go early before the main body of crowds start to arrive!

The first time you see this place is breathtaking. It's a must see place, very walk-able. Just make sure you have a guide to know a little more about the history of the place, or you will be missing out.

Visited the palace for a half a day during a trip to Vienna. The bonus part was their Christmas market. Beautiful place. Much more so I think in the summer when the flowers are in bloom.

Yes, it is best to do it after the tour inside as the grounds are extensive. We walked for over an hour and could not see it all because we had to regroup with our bus. To enter the gardens you must enter from the left of... More

I don’t recall a winter pass. I had purchased the Vienna Pass ( I recommend). I was automatically put on the grand tour track. I visited 10-12 more rooms than those who didn’t have the grand tour. Schönbrunn has a lot of... More
