An absolute must if you want to experience and understand Vienna's contribution to Art Noveau/Jugendstil. Currently under some renovation, although the interior seems to be finished, but the exterior has some work going on. The highlight of course is the Beethove Frieze which is rather...More

It is very expensive and it is almost empty. The only interesting thing is the Beethoven painting but is not good enough. Better visit other places

As this building is in reconstruction, at least from outside, we couldn't see the Art Nouveau beauty in its best, and also we visited only in the evening, so couldn't see the famous Klimt's Beethoven frieze, but if you staying in center of Vienna, it's...More

The ticket is expensive. The basement mural by Klimt is massively overrated and a big disappointment. Some interesting furniture items upstairs eg by Charles Rennie Mackintosh (and wife).

Unfortunately the Building was completed covered for construction work. Inside with Klimt's Beethoven frieze around. The Klimt frieze has been restored and can be seen in the gallery today.
