There is few things to see in Innsbruck, but this tower has a great view over the mountains around the city. However, the stairs are quite dangerous, because there is no light during all the 149 steps! That's unacceptable... The ticket will cost around 4€. If you want to use the toilets you need to pay 0,5€, unless you have... More

A good place for a little exercise to keep you fit. You get a fairly good view of the town and mountains at the top, especially of the Gold Roof museum..

Very interesting experience. Many steps to climb with fascinating double winding staircase. Very tight at the top and only one person able to stand so the people move around the tower slowly so you can see all of surrounding Innsbruck.

For us basically a high tower in the centre of the city. Gives good views over the centre but incredibly windy up top. Not sure it is worth 3.50€ each for the entrance ticket although stair are quite modern. Would recommend if done with the Innsbruck card.

Visited the 'city tower' in Dec 2015. Nice scenic views of Innsbruck city. Need to climb 148 narrow steps up to the viewing deck(51m high).

It's only a few stories, so don't expect a skyscraper view, but it gets a story or two above the town and gives a nice view, especially with Christmas lights.

Visited as part of our Innsbruck Card and I would recommend going at night time. There are a lot of steps, but having a separate case for up and down is very clever! Kids loved the glass floor and stepping though the small door to the outside. It can get windy as well. If there during the Christmas Markets, plan... More

A great little view point for the city, a real tough slog up the stairs but well worth it. My kids loved the little doorway!

While this is a little walk up the stairs to the top, its well worth it. The views we saw of the Christmas markets, with the mountains in the background, were stunning.
