Great value

The Schiffahrt can be combined with minimundus or even the pyramidkugel but the daily ticket is worth anyway for approx 4 hours of "schiff-fahren". Probably even too long.

If visiting the Kärntner Region a Worthersee lake tour is a must. A round trip takes 4 hours but you can use your ticket as a hop on hop off at the various stops. A ticket costs $14 euro per adult and its well worth it. The scenery is breathtaking in a very relaxing environment. The lake is scattered with... More

We had a wonderful day on the lake taking this delightful cruise. The weather was great, and in September. there were plenty of seats available. The boat made stops at scheduled locations on both sides of the lake as per schedule. There was not much information given about what we were seeing, and none was in English. Food and drinks... A pleasant trip right around the lake with the chance to get off, explore and get back on to sail back to your resort. You can have a light meal or drinks on board and Maria Worth and Velden are nice resorts to get off, explore, take coffee or walk.

We liked the trip on the ship because we had super weather in September. Board service never ask if we would like a drink or something. We had to look for service. There were no announcements about the sights along the lake

Super nice lake, great boat, phnatastic view - too bad the announcements from the captain were only in German. There were lots of international guests on the boat Italians, English, Swedish and none of the international guests understood one word!

This company specialize in providing shipboard tours around the Woerthersee (Lake Woerther). Their ships (maybe 40m long) have all facilities including outdoor and under cover seating, adequate toilets, etc, etc. To do the round trip from where ever you boarded, right around the Lake and back again probably takes about 3 hours. A commentary on the points of interest and... More
