Large park in the center of Graz with many paths, statuary, an 1873 fountain with design elements identical those in the fountain in Paris' Place de la Concorde, and the Stadtpark Kirche.

the area near the fountain was full of drug users, so we didnt stay to admire the fountain for much time...the fountain and surrounding buildings are also marred with graffiti. the fountain also wasn't running (because its winter i suppose).

Graz is pretty well served for playgrounds - there's even a map which lists them all, but this one is very good. it has swings, slides, climbing frames, a sand pit and a water feature, by which I mean, a water feature that the kids...More

Maybe the best place to have relax and a quick take-away lunch visiting the city in a day. I suggest to get at the top of Schlossberg by this side walking on the Weldenstrasse (the hornbeams way): in late october is something magic!

I liked this garden and its trees, flowers, fountain and grass and it was calm 2 hrs which I spent there but I saw many strange people who were exchanging something (I think drugs). Otherwise everything thins is nice.

In general this is a nice place however there are many drug users that frequent this park. Also used by the homeless. There are a few coffee shops that are worth visiting.

Walking the tranquil paths, old trees everywhere, you can forget you are actually in a city. There are two cafes in and near the park.

Such a great park, with plenty of space to kick around a soccer ball, have a picnic, toss a frisbee, lots of benches around lovely pathways, and great cafe's. Even though there are oftentimes lots of people out, it still feels very personal and uncrowded.

The park is a lovely place to sit in the sun and study/ play frisbee or just sit with an ice cream in the summer time. It is also a lovely sight to cycle past in Graz. Lots of fond memories here.

This is a classic urban oasis: a large, well tended park that is much used by the people who live in the city. There are winding pathways, a fountain, a moat with ducks, play areas and lawns, and a huge variety of trees, many of...More
