Too crowded, cannot even gamble, shouldn't they want my money!!

This was a very disappointing experience. It cost 17 euros to get in (with 10 of that used as credit inside) which is absolutely fine. However, once inside there were WAY WAY too many customers for the number of tables. Four black jack tables and two roulette tables plus automated machines that no one uses is not nearly enough for the sheer number of people the let into the building. We waited for over an hour and not a single space opened up at any of the tables. You have to order a drink at either a lounge table (all busy) or one of the gambling tables, which of course you cannot do as they are all full. Then surprise surprise, once we decided to cut our losses, the credit chips cannot be exchanged back so we just had to leave 17 euros down each without placing a single bet. This is definitely not worth all of the hype. Worst casino I have ever been in.

Lovely atmosphere
Aug 2021
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people watching. The building is stunning and we really enjoyed a couple of cocktails as we aren't big gamblers. Was a bit of a mix with some really glamourous people who had made an effort to some more casual people. Couldn't go to Monaco and not go in.

If you like cars then you can stand outside and see hyper and super cars go past all night.

Fun to visit
Aug 2021
I'm not a gambler so I came here because I had never been inside a casino before, not in the part where the actual games are played. I paid to go in to see what the fuss is all about in gambling. I got to see the slot machines and other "types of games" that I'd never seen before. I got a 10 EUR disconut for alcohol so I got a coctkail and sat there watching people playing with their cash. So overall, not that bad.

It’s not great
Aug 2021 • Couples
The place is overhype, in the morning no dress code and free entrance you can go inside as long as you have a passport and vaccination card, if not they don’t allow you to go in, well it’s not lot to see in the morning only the slot machines are available. The big gambling happen at night after 8pm there’s dress code, then you need to pay to enter the facility. The place itself is not that big, I think the bigger room is for VIP. In my opinion Las Vegas is more better than this casino. The staff in this place treat you by the way you look. If you look rich you get treated well if not don’t expect any kindness.

Still a fun place to gamble
Jul 2021
Still fun! Nothing stays the same, but the Casino is still a fun place to visit and gamble. If you are staying at a hotel connected to Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, visiting could not be easier.

Average, Busy, Overhyped
Aug 2020
Overall the casino is average, if you're into cars you might like cars parked out front. Inside is a nice interior, as expected but you are limited to a tiny section of a free casino where you can use the slot machines. If you want the full gambling experience, you will have to pay for entrance.

Biggest waste of time and effort ever
Oct 2020
Had the greatest vacation in Europe traveling to over 9 countries. Monte Carlo was high on my list. I was last here with my Dad in 1966 as a kid and remember it well. I always wanted to come back as an adult and see and play in the Casino. I really enjoy gambling and frequent Casinos all over the world. This was a huge disappointment. It is VERY small and outdated, the staff is rude, they CHARGE to get in, and the list goes on. I actually had a fantastic time in a small Casino 50 miles away on the Coast the night before that put this place to shame. I will never recommend anyone waste a single minute inside this dump. Take your pictures Outside and skip it.

An experience
Jul 2020
We had a walk around here whilst visiting Monaco. Lot's of rich and famous cars and boats around the place and harbour etc. Good to experience though, have to visit if you're that way on.

Main Attraction of Tiny Monaco
Feb 2020
On my last days in Europe during this pre Covid trip I just had to include Monaco in my itinerary. The second smallest country in the world is so small that I only needed a day to tour it. I flew to Nice from Paris and I am happy I was able finally strike this off my list.

At the Centre of this small contry is the Casino De Monte Carlo. You wont miss this place because it is the main attraction of tiny Monte Carlo.

I just took photos outside and toured the harbour where a lot of yachts of the rich and famous people are docked.

My "Lucy" Moment!
Mar 2020
This is the most extravagant and beautiful casino I've ever seen! Ever since watching Lucy from "I Love Lucy" accidentally win at the Roulette Table, it has been my dream to play Roulette in Monte Carlo. I played very conservatively and watched in anticipation while playing only one special number per spin. My patience paid off, literally, and my number hit!! I resisted the urge to place all of my winnings on the number like Lucy did but still walked away with much more than I started with. We even enjoyed some pink champagne to celebrate my good fortune. Would love to return and try my luck again.
