There are many route options to take; we took the "yellow dot" route which climbs up across the mountains. This walk is amazing- the views are some of the best I have seen. It is difficult. It took us 5 hours, although we did stop for lunch. The path begins to climb the mountain, levels out, and becomes tricky to... More

We decided to drive to another city, Ordino from Soldeu (where we checked in) in order to avoid the Tour de France that took place on that day. There are two options to get onto the lakes, one from the ski station area, and another one which is about 100m down the road. We took the latter option to avoid... More

What a fabulous walk - well worth the views. Wear trainers as it is quite rocky but the views and the lake are well worth it. Great for people who want to go fishing too :)We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it - and a dip in the freezing cold lake is compulsory!

One cannot control the weather, so the hiking was a bit different in gale force winds, rain and freezing temperatures. But, the trail was lovely and would definitely do it again in better weather!

This is a beautiful walk. It's not too straining, so it's good for most levels of walkers. There is a 'ski lift' which can take you directly to the top if you can't manage the walk, where there's a breathtaking view. towards France.

For non experienced hikers a must see, very beautiful and not to tiring with kids. Beautiful scenery once you are up the mountain trail.

Just wow... This hike kicked our butts a bit, because we took the looping trail around the three lakes. It ended up being a bit more than what we bargained for, but will remain fondly in our memories. There are some steep inclines, crossing over boulders and it should take you about 5 hours if you really take your time... More

Great walk, with some beautiful views. Not too long, but long enough for a great afternoon out. Easy enough for the less experienced walked.

Up at Arcalis which is miles from anywhere and to be honest nowhere near Arinsal. if you park at the start of the ski resort this is a relatively (Andorran easy.....which means a challenge) hike across a slope up to three beautiful lakes. Make sure you take food and warm clothes even on a good day as despite being quite... More
