If it hadn't been for a friend taking us here , we would never have gone. It a beautiful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Paphos and the history is awesome. There are also light refreshments on site and if you want a quiet couple of hours it is the place to get away from it all

Very interesting background to this monastery and a lovely place to visit, with great mountainside views and historical artefacts to see. Also a great cafe, located under the cool shade of the trees - even good to sit there in the hot summer.

Went a part of a Cyprus cultural bus trip. Very interesting. Nice cafe. Steep hill and steps to be aware of.

We found this a very interesting visit and enjoyed it's museum. Again a nice drive and great scenery enroute. Staff at the museum were very helpful.

Not much signs to find this place, but so worth to visit. We went there after 6pm when church was close but was so nice to go around without crowds. So peaceful place!!! Monastery is so beautiful, lovely views.

Is this the most peaceful place in Cyprus? We have visited many times and the restaurant offers fast friendly service by the nicest lady in Paphos who seems to speak to all customers in their own language! We simply love it

The monastery is uphill all the way from the Coral Bay Area and stunning views all the way. We hired a car but buses do go there,. What a setting! Stunning views and quietness to die for. For a small charge you can visit the older building set in the rock-face and the museum which has lots of interesting artefacts.... More

We visited at 12.30pm and found that the place closes at 1.00pm and reopens at 2.00pm. We were lucky to be able to get into the monastery and museum before they closed. There are no monks in the monastery now but it is looked after by a team of people. There are artefacts from 50BC and in the caves there... More

Monastery is so beautiful and location in the mountains. On your way be sure to stop and buy fresh produce from farmers on side of the road.
