Living near some great Romania mosaics in the UK I wasn't sure what I'd see at Paphos, but the detail and level of preservation on these was incredible. On the whole the site was easy to navigate and there was enough information, but it would have been great to have at least photos on display of those mosaics currently covered... More

No leaflet guide, just very odd map - difficult to work out, no idea what was where. Quite a lot of walking, but amazing mosaics.

Beautiful part of the coast near the harbour. Good selection of mosaics and ancient house remains from 1500 years ago. Good value at 4.50 Euros so worth spending time here when in Paphos

We had a really nice time at the archeological park. Most of it is outdoors, which allows the kids a bit of freedom to move around and explore. Lots of signs and plaques that provide an explanation of the ruins. The park is also set-up for visitors to explore it at their own pace, and to see as little or... More

This is a great place to spend a morning or a day even. There is alot to see and it looks like there is more and more being uncovered. A really good insight into the past

It was one of those moments that I wished I charged my phone before I went out.... unfortunately due to my phone dying on me I've got no photos of this amazing place. Time just flew by and if it didn't start raining we could of stayed there for hours more. From the amazing mosaics to the roman pillars and... More

The whole experience was great except, the Polish and Cypriot archaeologists have done a great job, the viewing areas of the mosaics are first class. If you have time, take time, we took 5 hours. there was a nice little pavilion on the far side where we rested and read about the apostle's visit there (Acts 13). Two suggestions: The... More

Visited in February 2017 on a warm sunny day, should have taken a hat. The main point of my visit was for birds and photography but I thoroughly enjoyed the archaeology side too. Definitely take a hat and sufficient water. A refreshment vending machine can be found inside, which was working at the time of my visit.

As well as the mosaics take time to wander the whole area, there's lots to see including the remains of a mediaeval fort as your head back to the entrance.
