Steve and I would like to thank Chryso for showing us around this wonderful museum. It is packed with archeological finds, artifacts and memories lovingly collected by her late husband. We found the tour very emotional as she related to us where each item came...More

This is a privately-run small museum in old Paphos town. It was set up by the late husband of the current owner who still lives there. It is a 2-storey villa and is packed full of old artefacts. What you get is a truly fascinating...More

Welcomed delightfully by the collector's widow, we spent an hour being enchanted by a glimpse into 4000 years of Cypriot history. A personal collection, housed in a rebuilt family mansion, this museum kept us enthralled. Old peasant tools, dowry chests, arrow heads and silverware, all...More

A fascinating and very personal museum. We were shown around by the owner who gave us some touching insights into her family history and how many of the exhibits came to be there. It was an unexpected and rewarding visit.

It was so lovely to visit this museum! We had a guided tour, and it was so enchanting to hear the incredible stories of Mrs Eliadas’s late husband, she was obviously extremely proud. We went as a family and would definitely recommend!

A fascinating place with a warm welcome from the owner, but the entrance fee of five euros is a bit much for such a small place

Mrs Eliades showed us round the indoor collection with obvious love and pride and there is so much to see in a very confined space. Your mind is whisked through the centuriesand it is easy to miss some little gem. [the guidebook is useful]. Children...More

This is a private museum so do not expect the glossy finish of a government provided facility. As such it deserves support and we spent an interesting hour wandering around. As well as the expected domestic items there were one or two quite different features....More

We would really recommend this interesting and unusual museum in an old Paphos house which is also the curator's residence. Worth a visit, with much to see in the 19th century house and garden as it a unique example of a Cypriot town house. John...More
