We almost walked by this as there is some type of road work going on but glad we visited. There are cave type holes everywhere and a staircase leads you out to the highest level with spectacular views and a wonderful mosaic.

Came across the St Solomon's Catacombs by chance, well worth the visit. Remember to tie a piece of material to the tree to help with any ailments.

Passed these catacombs nearly every day on our walk into kato paphos. We just happened to have a look in one day out of curiosity as the attraction is not very well signed. They are fairly extensive and the area above ground is very pleasant...More

for a Christian Church! Bits of material tied all round the catacombs. Be careful when descending to the catacombs as you will not spot this crystal clear pool of water at the bottom. Wet shoes, wet feet if unaware,

Found this purely by chance as it is on the road amongst the shops and houses. There is a brown tourist sign for it. There is a large tree that you can't miss right at the entrance to the catacombs where people tie a piece...More

We stumbled across this place by accident when walking back to the hotel. We saw people appearing out of a hole in trees and went to investigate. They are quite interesting to walk in but are not very well sign posted and there seemed to...More

This was a fascinating place and well worth a visit. Entry was very reasonably priced. There was a lot to see, we spent approximately five hours looking around.

Worth reading up on the history before you go as very little info there. Be careful on steps. Just under the handkerchief tree is the Solomoni catacombs which are small and thought provoking. Just up the road on the same side are much larger cave...More

Thank you. We did find them last year. Also a large area being newly excavated behind some houses. Looking forward to seeing how they have got on when we return in October.
