Always visit Omodos. Routinely go into the Church of the Holy Cross and also into the little museum. Cannot walk past George's without buying Cyprus delight or nutty nougat!

A very quaint and truly Cypriot village situated in the wine regions. The village square is lovely with an abundance of tavernas all eager for your business. There are some lovely trinket shops and browse through and the scenery of the region is spectacular. Well...More

Nice and clean village, lots of visitors in the village square. Do not forget to visit the old church and monastery, and to buy hot arkateno bread from the local bakery

This was the last stop on our tour of the Troodos. A lovely old village with cafes and shops to buy souvenirs. There's a monastery (if you're into that sort of thing; I'm not) but, overall a charming spot to spend an hour or two...More

This was my first visit to Omodos. It has a very traditional streets with lots of little shops selling traditional Cypriot tatt. The church/monstery is very beautiful and the general feel of the village is traditional. Worth a visit if you have a free afternoon.

We visited late afternoon on a Sunday. I think most of the coach tours had left. We found a lot of Cypriots there when we visited, so the village doesn't just appeal to tourists. The village is very pretty and worth a visit. There are...More

What we liked most is the simplicity of the village with its cafes and green trees. Good restaurants and hospitality

Well worth a few hours' visit for tourists. There's a lovely glass shop with locally made products, if you manage to navigate your way through the streets, and a beautiful church, plus the usual mix of restaurants, shops and cafes. If you're into history don't...More

A really good time to visit, much less crowded and the weather should be really comfortable. Normally mid twenties.
