It is difficult to call this building a castle. A small building with a museum whose price does not justify the value. It is possible to walk around the yard at no charge and to be impressed by some of the antiques

The area around the Limassol Castle is very nice with a lot of restaurants and cafeterias. It is also an area for pedestrians only and a lot of people go for walking around there. Also there many other areas with restaurants and bars around there; for example, the Limassol Marina and Saripolou. It is a place one should definitely visit.... More

This Castle is more like a city museum and you can walk inside and study different artifacts from its history. I was a little disappointed as I wanted to learm more about Richard Lionhart etc. There is a nice view of Limassol from the top of the Castle.

We drove up, we saw, we left. There was honesty, not enough curb appeal to make us get out of the car. Once you've seen one of these, you've seen them all.

On a day visit to Limassol and made this part of our trip. It's a nice castle in pretty good condition. They have some nice artifacts but it's nothing to shout about. Only €4.50 though so it's good value

There is an interesting medieval museum inside the castle that made it worth the visit. The museum is easy to visit, as it is located near the old harbor, within walking distance of the ships and restaurants.

The castle looks fairly ordinary from the outside but inside it had interesting architecture and artefacts. It is not huge so probably an hour is all it takes to see it all. Children go free and for adults its 4.50 euro. You get good views from the rooftop also.

I like medieval history so I enjoyed this castle. Right in the middle of the old town. Worth a look. Looks great at night and the surrounding area is full of good restaurants.

Exposition of the castle is rather informative, quite well developed and kept. Good location, good restaurants just next to the castle, at the very centre of old town of Limassol. Definitely worth to climb up on the rooftop as it provides nice new over the old town.
