The Harbour looks good until one walks up to and and sees that the wooden walkways are rotten and broken the water is full of flotsam and litter, it is run down and in desperate need of some maintainance

The harbour itself is a stunning location and the restaurants around the harbour generally serve good food - but it is a bit of a lottery! You run the gauntlet as you walk around the harbour of being enticed into each restaurant as well as...More

Plenty of small taverna-like places for a meal - snack or just a drink. Climb a few steps to have a drink with a view!

Small harbour with restaurants all around. Boat trips available at really reasonable prices. Great for a few hours of relaxation.

This is the one truly touristy area in Kyrenia. It's expensive (for the TRNC) and full of barkers. However, the atmosphere is wonderful, friendly and vibrant. Take a boat ride if you get a chance and the fish restaurant at the base of the castle...More

The inner harbor of Kyrenia/Girne is very pretty by day and night. Nice place to have a coffee or drink by day and dinner at night. Most restaurants specialize in seafood. Enjoy a glass of Raki (Turkish national drink) while dinning.

This is a lovely little harbour edged with bars and restaurants where you can sit and look at the all yachts moored up and out to sea. It is equally attractive day or night. You can also walk out on a promontory and look back...More

This place has a great atmosphere day time or night. Maybe just drink beer or coffee and people watch or have a meal. Can be expensive compared to else where in and around Kyrenia but you have the views, especially at night with the castle...More

a very busy harbour with too many restaurants all serving a similar and expensive standard of cuisine. You can eat much better and far cheaper if you go away fro the the harbour. The harbour itself is not particularly pretty or atmospheric.

The place is very well-taken care of, clean and peaceful. There are beautiful areas around, very nice to walk, and we enjoyed nice coffee and traditional food in nearby shops. One of the best places in Cyprus.

Yes there is a taxi rank where you can pick up a taxi, but negotiate a price before you take the ride to avoid confusion!!

Hello, Everywhere will serve those dishes -although the kleftico may be served as pieces rather than a single shank and a less rich sauce than you're expecting. My advise is to choose a place YOU like the look of.

Try Cyprus Paradise, U.K. Based but with permanent staff on the island who will be able to assist.
