Might be a little boring if you arent a stamp collector. If one of your party is a collector be prepared to lose them for a long while. Also guaranteed they will spend a lot more money than you thought buying some incredible stamps.

Entry came as part of the national museum fee, so pottered along, seemingly full of lots of items they had covered about the postal system, and yes, there would have been some very interesting items, IF they had thought to label items in anything BUT German . but sadly of little use to those of us with only a basic... A very interesting and free museum with a fine collection of local stamps and some other items, such as a postbike, sledge and some artwork. As part of the museum there is a paying ticket for the royal jewels downstairs, an eerie and atmospheric visit to what is effectively a huge safe. There is a good shop in the museum... More

This is a fascinating place to visit. The insights into the entire system of postal in this tiny yet prosperous country made me feel very appreciative of the role of a postmen. You can spend hours in this place to appreciate more about history of postal and stamps. A must visit in Vaduz.

Liechtenstein is famed for the humble postage stamp production and having been very amateur philatelists in our youth we were interested to look round this small museum, especially as it is free of charge. It was a fascinating hour finding the stamps produced on different themes such as Christmas and the Olympic Games. We discovered those printed in the years... More

If you love stamps you can get lost here, otherwise is still a fun thing to do if you have time when in Vaduz.

This is not a necessity when visiting Vaduz. Enter the lobby and get a glimpse of what the exhibits hold. For most philatelic non-enthusiasts this will suffice. You might be enticed to pay 8 euros to see the Prince’s treasures, which is an add-on to the general admission, but it is definitely sparse and not worth your money.

This museum is a homage to Leichenstein's reputation as a top stamp producer. It is one of a kind, though unfortunately all displays are explained only in German. IF one is interested in stamps, this is a must visit.

Liechtenstein has a reputation for its stamps, so it seemed fitting that they have a museum dedicated to the humble postage stamp and it made for a fun and interesting visit. The museum is small and at first blush, I zipped around the loop and was done. But then I realized that I could pull out the exhibits from the... More
