too bad that this is what's left from the history. The area is nice, very nice. It gives you a photoshop-like picture. It is also near the Casemate du bock, and other top list places in Lux. Great vista! I just love it!

After a long walk along the Chemin de la Corniche, I came out at this road location and this intriguing old structure was just across the road. Not welcoming enough to try to explore further, but certainly a good photo op

The tower is closed off so you cannot get inside it for views from the top but the bridge that it is on gives a pretty good vista anyway! It is next to Casements du Bock and worth a wander to see the fortifications and...More

Great place to start the tour along fortifications. Great view on both sides of the outcropping on the city, river and trains. Infopoints about the history of fortifications (French and German description mostly), entry to Bock casemates (in warm part of the year). Training point...More

I loved the ruins of the former fort. It's a shame that they knocked it mostly down in the 1860s. What is left is fantastic.

If you are having a walk in the city this is a great place to get a view of the valley. It's a very sentimental place for me as it is where my future wife and I had our first date. If you are going...More

This was a great ruin of a tower on the bridge a part of the Bock. It was awesome walking around the ruins of these fortifications and taking pictures. Definitely worth wandering around here.

The Dent Creuse is on the bridge close to the entrance of Casemates du Bock. You cannot get inside and this is only a remain of the former fortress, but it is still impressive.

The bridge offers some look-out points and (remains of) towers, but I found this to be the most impressive one. It is photogenic and from the top you will have great views on the surrounding area.
