This museum was by far the best collection of Military History I have seen. It was very moving to see pictures and personal items from a local standpoint. The building itself had been used as s communication centre truly living history. 13€ for the entrance...More

It's easily the finest Battle of the Bulge museum in the world, blowing the doors off of the Bastogne Museum. It's also possibly the finest WW II museum in the world. It lacks the emotional intensity of Normandy/Omaha Beach and Peal Harbor. But the collection...More

What a cracking Museum. Like a tardis and it's on many levels. 10 euros for two is under priced for what you get.. Good cafes in the town if you want to eat. Frank's is a good choice

Dear mark j, Thank you for your excellent review. You're right, there are a lot of cafés and restaurants in the centre of Diekirch, you never leave hungry.

Dioramas, displays, and maps. Scores of vehicles, artillery pieces, rifles, material, uniforms from both the allied and Nazi sides. Almost overwhelming in quantity and detail. Parking is hard to find but the museum is worth the walk.

Dear Ott0, Thank you for your excellent review. Finding a parking space can be hard, but there is an underground parking called "Esplanade" 100 metres away from the museum. Greetings from Diekirch

Primarily tells the story of WW2 events in Luxembourg, particularly the local area. A huge range of information, including photos with a natural bias to American troops who liberated the country. Extensive range of old military equipment, including a whole floor of vehicles and ordnance....More
