About
The Team Of highly skilled artists at Valletta Glass have dedicated their work entirely to hand made objects of art, with respect for the tradition, therefore using exclusively the ancient glass blowing techniques, refined by centuries and passed on from generation to generation by skillful masters. Their commitment to keep alive and pass on the traditional craft is completed by a ceaseless pursuit of perfection in shapes, colors and patterns, which come to enrich the world of blown glass art while still preserving its timeless spirit. “We make glass in the old fashioned way using many techniques and tools that are essentially unchanged from those used a couple of decades ago. Manufacturing glass has been a labour of love for me since my childhood and now I am able to share that love of glass by providing new and unique pieces to our customers” says Paul Said, the Master Artist of the company.

I purchased a large piece of glass to be sent to the United States and also paid for shipping totaling almost $1000. At the shop they told me they would drill the holes to hang the glass and give us the hardware as well. We received the glass with no holes drilled and no hardware. I contacted Valletta Glass spoke to Elaine and she was non responsive. Now I have a piece of glass that I can't hang. Unacceptable and disappointed.

Visited with young children to see how glass is being made. Unfortunately there was no glass blowing demonstrations but we still enjoyed the show. The stuff in the shop was beautiful but very expensive. Got only a little glass penguin for our little boy, he was very happy.

We visited the store at Mdina and purchased a few pieces. The choice was amazing and everything was so pretty.
The only negative thing (possibly a super random comment) to note is that the shop assistant that served us was sick with a cold...and now we all have what she had 🤔

I love visiting the glass workshops here and had only previously visited Mdina Glass.

The glass blowers were doing demonstrations which I always like to watch and the shop had a really fantastic range of items.

I think I slightly prefer Mdina Glass as although both offer similar items I do tend to find more things in Mdina Glass but Valletta Glass still has a great offering and plenty of options and it is just down to personal choice!

We’ve been coming twice a year to Malta for the last 6 years, always visiting the factory and now have a nice collection. Every time, whether the glass blowers have been working or not has been a delight. Unfortunately the visit this summer was marred by the blowers shouting out for tips as we left. I had also as usual bought a couple of pieces while in the shop. This has never happened before and I can’t see why you should shout at people for tips as they leave. It’s not like the glass is cheap. I’m not sure I’m going to be rushing back there later in the year when I’m back in the country.

Neat glass shop in the Ta Quali Crafts Village!  You can watch the Glass figures being blown and sculpted up close an personal! Looking at all the finished products was also really and neat! So much skill and creativity goes into the artworks! Free to look around and watch the artists create their master pieces!

I purchased a very expensive piece of glassware from Valletta Glass in early October. I paid for it to be shipped home and paid to insure it. It arrived in pieces and Valletta Glass show little or no interest in following up on the insurance claim with their insurer. They now don’t answer my emails or otherwise communicate.
So BE VERY AWARE if you are a tourist purchasing from them to ship overseas.
