Very small bar bit macabre with all the pics of Ollie on the walls as well as maritime pictures-seat capacity for 24 at a push not bad prices for drinks if you like small you’ll enjoy this little bar.

This place is well worth a drink if you are passing, it is a tiny little bar, very 'old english' style. There are quirky little wall displays and the prices are fair. The service was terrible; slow, grumpy, reluctant. Really let the place down.

Basic bar with good atmosphere and interesting to look at the all the naval memorabilia and of course, tributes to Ollie. Can't comment on the loos - having read the reviews I decided not to chance it! We found the bar staff friendly enough, you...More

A dismal place that promises to get you drunk (according to the blackboard outside). Sadly the "celebrated" final watering hole of Oliver Reed when he failed, fatally, to beat a group of British sailors in a drinking contest. Probably a place for ghouls to hang...More

Trading on the fact that Oliver Read drank himself to death here. Probably will appeal to some on that basis and the chance to view Navy memorabilia. No food but on the plus side drinks are reasonable - otherwise probably best avoided.

Great bar, great service, just leave your airs and graces at the door Let's be honest, it's impossible to spend 50 euros on a drink at The Pub. Calling the patrons drunkass is sure to get you and your review ignored! Sounds like you simply...More

That said it's definitely worth popping in if you are passing. Pictures of Mr. Reed adourn the walls along with currency notes and flags. Not worth going out of your way for but you shouldn't miss it if you're in the vicinity.

The place where Oliver Reed passed away after drinking heavily and arm wrestling with members of the Royal Navy. Photos of Oliver Red adorn the walls and navy ensigns add to the air of a traditional pub. The staff are friendly. This is however a...More

This " Pub" is a legend, an institution and not a snackbar, sorry Joan.

It's not really that sort of pub. It's very small and a bit like going back in time.
