Just ok for me. There are so many spectacular and interesting things to see and do in Valletta, it's ok to get close to a cruise ship at dock if so desired, but time spent elsewhere might be a priority. Plus, the photo of the Valletta waterfront on TripAdvisor is not the"Valletta" waterfront, it is a beautiful view of Valletta... More

This is the typical view that you get in all the travel brochures to Malta. It is impressive. We have found the best place to see this view is - wait for it, the cafe on the top floor of Marks and Spencers in Sliema, honestly. If you go into M & S, there is a reasonbly priced good cafe... More

this area of Valletta has some awesome cruisers and pleasure crafts. Definitely a stopover for the rich who are cruising the Med.

This is a beautiful waterfront. It's easy to see why so many cruise ships come here. But go see more than just the seaside since the city of Valletta is beautiful and unique.

Great views of a very old city. The waterfront is often filled with cruise liners and the small Maltese boats.

After doing an open top bus tour of the southern part of the Island we were dropped off to wait for the bus back to Bugibba. Although there was a cold wind blowing it was rather nice to watch the boats mooring up for the night with the dome of St John's Co-Cathedral and the city as a backdrop.
