Beautiful location
Sep 2021
Fort St Angelo was very interesting and had superb views overlooking the harbour. The 3 cities are a wonderful place to walk around and have a leisurely lunch overlooking the harbour. Its worthwhile using a traditional boat to do the crossing from Valletta.

do the boat ride and watch the cities from the sea. by foot its exhausting and it s not worth it because the beauty of the view is from the sea not on foot

So much history
Nov 2020
You need 3 to 4 days to visit all the interesting places in these 3 cities, specially if you are interested in history. Very well connected by transport.

Lovely
Sep 2020
You must visit and walk the area when it is cool though there is plenty of shade. The lift to it from gardens upper levels takes you to the public ferry across the road. Nice modern bridge when yoi arrive and you can walk and catch buses.Easy and lovely. You explare what you can see high up in the gardens UP THE LIFT. You can get back by bus to Valetta and use of lifts are free after 6 p.m. i.e. when cooler.

a hidden gem
Aug 2020
We went by ferry (after 6:00pm it's free of charge) and strolled around the small streets. Nice view of Valletta. Very peaceful place. A lot of good restaurants though a bit expensive. We went back by bus to Valletta.

Stunning place to visit
Jan 2020 • Solo
The Three cities is accessible from the Birgu area. You can admire from across the waters or you can pay a small fee to go to the city by boat. There it is more laid back than Valletta. If you dont wish to visit you can admire how beautiful it is and the hundreds of boat docked at its harbour.

Lovely island so great to jump on the ferry over the way for less than 3 euros, good views on the water and nice things to see the other side.

Nice Afternoon Visit
Mar 2020
We took the local boat over to the 3 Cities from Valetta. Very reasonable at 2E per person each way, and a lovely experience. We walked around the cities ourselves. Some great pedestrian streets to wander and photograph. A wonderful Water Colorist with a shop to visit. Only spent 3 hours in total, finishing with a sunset harbor cruise. Definitely worth a visit.
