This is a nice beach, but it's far too busy. You have to pay for parking. I'd say it's ok for families if you want to spend the day there, or for sun worshippers.

From a distance this bay looks lovely. Up close it's just a brown not red sand beach. Smells pretty bad too and the cafe beach side is not a patch on the one at Golden bay Malta. Hot, expensive beds and parasols. We expected a...More

We visited this beach in Gozo in August 2017 with my parents. It is reachable in half an hour through catching a bus (don't remember what number) from either Gozo's harbor or Victoria city centre. Once there, there's just a few meters walk to get...More

This bay has a unique feature, reddish sand. Here you find a restaurant just a hundred meters from the sea. Ate good food here nothing classic. Parking not a problem. Worth visiting.

In the sun this place is crowded with people - but on a rainy day there are plenty of space. There are life guards to secure a safe swimming experience.

Loved the color of the sand as well as it's soft texture. A bit difficult to get into the water because there are a lot of pebbles and stones on the shore. Not the best beach in the country but still a nice one.

Stopped here on a tour. The sand is a very golden colour. Looked nice but didn't go for a swim. Kiosk is good and there are toilets.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Rocks strewn all over the sand and very rocky in the water itself. Water was clean though and the kids enjoyed the surf for a change.

Not directly. All buses run through the city of Victoria (Rabat), so you would need to get a bus from Mgarr (Imgarr) to Victoria and then a bus from there to Ramla. It doesn't take long though, what with the Island being so... More
