I loved the Citadel, walked all around the base and up top, fantastic views, going back in time. Some parts were closed for renovation but this was still a good day out

Really nice place that you have to visit when in Gozo. You have a 360° view around the island. The entrance to the citadel is free but I will recommend to visit the old prison as well. Really nice to see the history of Victoria.

We didn't have enough time to see everything in the Citidel, a town on a hill just partially renovated. But we did see the views, and they were wonderful. And it's worth looking inside the town as well as outside. It was a windy day,...More

We could have spent much more time here it is so full of history and small museums. It was well worth the time going down to look at the gunpowder stores.

There are a number of places to visit in The Citadel complex including the cathedral, Museums of Natural History and Archaelogy and the Old Jail. What really stands out are the views all around the island. Hopefully, it won’t be too windy. It was quite...More

Really the highest place on Gozo island. An outlook all around, till the sea. you can see the city at your feet, the agricultural areas, until the cliffs and the blue sea. Easy to understand why a citadel has been built on that spot.

Went to The Citadel after hours. Even though it was closed we were able to walk around and get a feel of everything. Fantastic views from the top and saw a gorgeous sunset.

The ancient heart of the city and island. Great to walk around. Great views from it. Fine old buildings and museums.

There's a small car park at the top of the hill next to the wall, very close to the entrance. We paid around 2€ for as long as we wanted.

Reference should be ok but check with the agent. He should have given you a phone number. Or ask your hotel to check.
