Beautiful church dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption, located just outside of Gharb on the island of Gozo. Church was rebuilt in the 1920s in neo-romanesque style; design is simple and beautiful. Can be accessed by car, bus or the hop-on-hop-off sightseeing tour. Unfortunately work is being done on the outside at the moment but it is still possible... More

A very peaceful place and a place of reflection. One seems to find inner peace when visiting the Sanctuary

The moment you enter this church with devotion , you will feel peace in your heart. A must to visit when in Gozo. Some peace and serenity , away from the noisy and hectic everyday life.

This church has claims that the Virgin Mary has been heard here. Hence the nickname "the Church of Miracles'. Another example of the strong faith of the people of Gozo. The present church, built on the site of the ol was consecrated in 1932. Pope John Paul celebrated mas here in 1990. Your visit here will not disappoint.

We visited Ta'Pinu on our tour of Gozo thanks to our tour guide and driver, Joseph. It was set out in a green field off a small road. Another stunning church in Malta/Gozo!! Very impressive as the reddish limestone structure seems to appear out of nowhere in quite a flat part of the island.

A sanctuary where it is peaceful and there's a legend attached to the place. There's also a hill with statues in front.
