Simplistic with great bay views and a new double boar ramp. Surf fish or fish, clam or crab off the pier that juts into the bay. Restrooms and visitor center.

Perfect to see birds and have fun with kids on the pier. The grandkids caught and released a lot of crabs and were very happy. There are no benches on the pier so take a chair. There is a bathroom. Take bug spray as there were some biting flies. Not awful but can be annoying. There is a private bait... More

Small state park on the shore of Indian River Bay. Great place for crabbing off the dock, launching a kayak or boat, picnicing or just lounging

Before you read on, if you decide to go wear repellant! The ticks are no joke here, I had 8 on me after a hike on the trail. The park is a little run down, but we are here in the late spring, so maybe upkeep hasn't started yet. There are decent restrooms, they even had soap. The walk out... More

Holt's Landing is the forgotten jewel in the Delaware Seashore State Park crown. Featuring a boat launch, picnic grove, camping, fishing, crabing and hiking trails it has got it all. While it can be crowded in season there is still much to enjoy out of season. The Seahorse trail, takes you through several different habitats each with diverse plant and... More

This state park is a frequent designation for our bicycle trips as our home is about 4 miles away. It can get busy in peak season. They have picnic areas although we've not availed ourselves of them. The boat ramp is well-maintained and sometimes we meet our jet ski-owning friends here for a ride across the bay to the Paradise... More

7/16/15- We took 9 kids ages 2 to 12 fishing and crabbing on the pier. They had a GREAT time.Fishing was a bust but catching small crabs was great. They must have caught 60 crabs but only 3 keepers. It didn`t matter to them.Hand lines and an extra long net and you`re in.Check the tides -2 hrs before to 2 hrs... More

One of the most well-designed parks I've visited. The biking trails are challenging and provide interesting scenery all the way through. I learned more at http://www.stateparksreview.com/delaware-state-parks/.
