This is a very interesting art installation. Yoko Ono's Imagine Peace Tower is a very moving piece. The rays of light shoot straight up into the Reykjavik night sky. You can see it from the harbor in Reykjavik. We were there in January and it...More
I have never been here, but I am very concerned about it. It is a disgrace to Iceland. It is nothing more than a blatant desecration of the night sky. People would want to visit Iceland to observe the Aurora Borealis. They would not want...More

It was lit every night while we stayed in Reykjavík. You can see it from everywhere in town even if the sky wasn’t so clear. We were lucky enough to catch Peace tower light with dancing northern light. May peace on this beautiful Iceland and...More

Saw the light beaming skywards while we were on a Northern Lights boat tour in the harbor. Very inspiring to know what it is and why it's there.
This came as quite a surprise and apparently we had just missed Yoko Ono when she came to light the Peace Light. It shines over the city all night and gives a sense of reflection. Very pretty! Very moving!
