This museum is in Kópavogur, a town right next to Reykjavík. The correct address is Hamraborg 6a, Kópavogur, bus route 1 from Reykjavík.

First off --- there are no elephants living in Iceland --- not sure of where this photo came from, but it was not taken in Iceland. Positioned directly on bus station. Easy to reach but hard to find. It is in library building, downstairs. Free entry. Excellent place to learn about Iceland and Atlantic wildlife. Stones and minerals collection is very interesting. Birds, fishes and animals are well presented, but you must be biologist to identify species - names written in Latin and Icelandic language.
