Don´t miss out on the unforgettable experience Special Tours offers you in whale watching in Reykjavik, Iceland: Whale Watching Express! Our whale watching boat, Rósin (The Rose), offers an absolute innovation in whale watching adventures in Iceland, it is fast and a luxurious whale watching boat, one of its kind in Iceland, providing security and luxury for all. The boat is both safe and quiet, as well as being equipped with the latest technology. The whale watching tours start from the Reykjavik Old Harbour and during puffin season (1 May - 15 Aug) we sail past the puffin islands Akurey and Lundey, inhabited by thousands of puffins. From there it takes us only 15 - 20 minutes to get to where the whales are. In the whale watching tours you´ll see whales in their natural environment, quite up close and personal. The friendly guides and captain point out where to spot the whales on the surface of the sea and give you interesting information about the different kinds of whales you can expect to see.

Very knowledgable crew and staff. The company provides everyone with sea sick tablets before boarding, which I would highly recommend taking, as the ride out could be bumpy at times, and a few passengers did get ill. Very grateful for the overcoat that was provided,...More
