Nothing to see on trip. Most of whales have gone by November. But boat was well organised. Spoke to lots of other tourists and none had seen any whales or dolphins either

To me, for the price, the gamble is not worth it. During my trip, we saw a few dolphins, but no whales. Of course, caveat emptor...I knew there was a chance. What stinks is, if you are lucky and see dolphins and even a whale, you have to also hope that you are at the right place on the boat... More

We booked this through special tour Iceland - the pickup was meant to be between 12-12:30 we were picked up finally at 12:55 - that was after a few phone calls chasing them up to see what was going on. We got there and there was a huge queue going round the corner so waited in that for 10 mins... More

The whale watching tour was a really good 3 hour trip. The staff on the boat are all very professional, and the main guide on the bridge was brilliant at getting everyone involved whilst also being very informative. The crew do their utmost to find you wildlife, and on our trip we saw harbour porpoises, white beaked dolphins and two... More

Chances are slim for seeing whales. $200 boat ride basically. Small boat is a rough but fun ride around bay.

We booked this Elding Whale watching tour through Reykjavik excursions which was very efficient. The bus picked us up from our hotel promptly and took us to the harbour. We got on the Elding Whale watching boat and were offered seasickness tablets of which I took one since I'm prone to seasickness. We also got to wear thick red suits... More

On exchanging our voucher for tickets we were offered travel sickness tablets. This was a warning of things to come. We were first admitted to a static boat with an exhibition which was quite interesting for a short time. Tour members were then assigned places on adjacent boats for the journey. We were offered all in one insulated waterproofs. We... More

This was a fun excursion! It was considered a rough day when we went out but I did not get seasick. With that said, I have never seen so many people with barf bags! We enjoyed the fresh air and wildlife. Maybe next time we will see a whale!

We decided to go out on a whale watching trip around the bay in Reykjavic - AMAZING! We headed out to sea and after an hour or so we were surrounded by 5 humpback whales! It was incredible to see some of them being so inquisitive coming near the boat. There are many other mammals in the sea that you... More

We went out here last week. The bus collected us bang on time and we were quickly on route out to see the whales. The tour guide was really good. Over the mic most of the trip telling us whale faces and information about iceland. We were also provided with over alls to keep us warm which was a lovely... More
