Went on the northern lights tour, we were lucky enough to see the lights, not all in their glory but still saw them so feel very luck as it is pure luck if you see them or not.

We used this company for all our planned excursions whilst in Iceland- it was an easy and affordable way of ticking off the blue lagoon and the golden circle and northern lights . Great as they collect you from designated hotels or local bus stops....More

This is a big operation and everything worked. We booked transfers to the Blue Lagoon, were collected in a minibus and transferred to the bus station to connect with a coach. They must be working on a huge margin but there’s very little choice.

Hiking boots are good. Something with traction. Something warm and waterproof. They will most likely give you grip-ons but helpful to have good ankle support, warm, waterproof and with traction.
