We drove the ring road and decided to fend for ourselves with lunches and most breakfasts. I felt the prices were fairly reasonable and definitely saved us money. Try the Lays Paprika chips they were surprisingly really good and I'm not a big chip person....More

This was the only place where we bought food. According to grocery prices in Iceland, this is like low-priced market. You can buy here all necessary things for living (toothpaste, shampoo, bread, fruits, meat etc.). Placed in biggest cities, variable prices (some cheaper than usual,...More

One of the better priced stores in Iceland. Generally food is expensive in Iceland, this being a great deal better. Well stocked, pleasant staff.

Bonus is THE grocery store to shop, as all of Reykjavik knows. Great prices on food, snacks, drinks, candy and more. (Just be sure to ask which of their containers of milk is actually just milk, and NOT yogurt – which I inadvertently added to...More

Good for grabbing the basics to save a few bucks for breakfast and lunch. A decent regular grocery store with both local and international brands.

Went here to get some local salts and snacks to bring home. Our type of souvenir shopping. They have everything you would need for short or long stay. Enjoyed the smoked fish and caviar option. The refrigerated food section is a massive walk in fridge....More

I live in Reykjavik itself and Bonus is the only Grocery shop of the all shops in Iceland, no one else can give cheaper than this company. They have at least highest number of outlets in Capatial region in each and other corners.

You can load up on a variety of local, Sirius chocolate bars to take home as souvenirs, snacks, sandwiches, drinks and whatever you need to make your trip more affordable. The best part is they carry traditional, slightly sweet Rugbraud not found at the top...More

We went to various bonus stores and each one had parking available with no time limit posted. Many were in a plaza with at least one other store and had plenty of available parking.
