They have large sizes but we were able to find everything we needed for some dinners and breakfast for our visit. While we brought our own grocery bags, of course we had to buy one of their bags.

This little supermarket was essential for us as we were self catering. It stocked the basics along with a small fresh and chilled department. If you are visiting Iceland for the first time do not expect anything like the supermarkets you find in the UK...More

This place is great if you are on a budget and have the facilities in your hotel to make use of. We were very relieved to be able to buy lunch and snacks for a reasonable price in an otherwise pricey location.

It a nice chain with all the groceries you need. We stocked up on breakfast foods, snacks and bottled water here. The frozen toffee cheesecake was yummy and I highly recommend the Krydd Smjor, a delicious herbed butter found in the dairy section.

First off, let's be real - Iceland is expensive. Therefore if you were wondering why I put "low cost" in square quotes in the title, that's why. If you are traveling from a less expensive area, Bónus might seem pricey. However, if you go to...More
