Be prepared to get wet, even though they kit you out in flotation suits and life jackets the zodiacs go so fast that, especially on the back you get soaked. Tour lasts about 1 hour and you do get to see plenty of icebergs but...More

We had a lovely boat ride among ice floats. Crew was friendly, informative and respectful of the environment. So quiet on the water, made for great photo opportunities. I just wish it had been a longer ride.

I was so excited about this boat tour based on other reviews. I have to believe that it is usually wonderful and calm. Unfortunatey, that was not our experience. Within 5 - 10 minutes of getting in the boat, the water became rough. Our guide...More

This is a MUST DO!!! First of all, it's so gorgeous it's hard to describe. Definitely make sure you have time to walk around and take a gajillion pictures. It's just so other-wordly and magical. Then I really think it's worth it to do this...More

We really enjoyed ourselves on this tour and found it very informative. The entire Ice Lagoon staff/organization is very safety conscious, well organized, personable & knowledgeable. They have good equipment and provide a sheltered sheltered changing area which would be very important on a bad...More

This was a really fun and exciting experience. Guides were knowledgeable and shared so much information. It is a thrilling ride to the glacier (and cold) but well worth it. Very easy to find.

This was probably one of the best things we did in Iceland. I had found it on TA. We suited up in our thermal suits (which provided some cute pictures) and headed out in the boat. The icebergs Bd glacier were really breath taking. You...More

We had booked in advance and got there early so we could walk around and take in the scenery. Then you get dressed in the suits and life preserver (the suits are warm, don't over dress) and then the bus over to the socials. Heather...More

The zodiac tour of the ice lagoon may seem a bit expensive, but it is amazing. Sure you can stand on the shore and see some amazing icebergs, but going on the zodiac tour you get a chance to learn so much more and actually...More

We booked the zodiac tour and loved every second of it! I was 18-19 weeks pregnant and it was totally enjoyable. The only thing is that it was super cold while whipping between icebergs. The lagoon is amazing and this is a must do. The...More

It is possible that the camera could get wet as the boat travels quickly. But if you are sensible and only take photographs when the boat is stationary or travelling slowly there should be no problem.

You can book a boat ride from the 15th May onward but only if it's on the Amphibian which doesn't get so close to the glacier. The Zodiac tours start on 1June but you have all the info if you go to the site of the icelagoon.
