Erlendur Bogason is an amazing guide, arms length from the whales and he is very knowledgeable about the area and about whales in general. We will be back to do more with Erlendur, one of a kind! ❤❤

Great friendly and helpful people. I have dived for 30 years all over the world and this is not one to miss. Tough because of the water temp but the people running it are top drawer and will make your experience as easy as possible....More

I was there in May 2016, diving the hydrothermal vents was amazing and if you go, you have to dive them at least twice each to experience them properly. We also got to see Humpback whales. Some very friendly Wolf fish. A unique experience. Erlendur...More

Hi Dsaroff, Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience!!! I am Ruohai, a young guy who will travel to Iceland in Feb 2016. You mentioned that this was your 5th Dry Suit Dive. I am very curious about the qualification to dive at Strytan. Could I dive there with only 1 Dry Suit experience? Thanks! Based on your experience, what’s the difficulty level to dive there? (I heard the current is strong there) Thanks! Best, Ruohai

Hi Sydney, this is Ruohai, I will start my Iceland trip in Feb and I am very interested in diving at the Strytan Dive Center. I have seen both the Strytan and Arnarnesstrytur Diving Tour. Based on the description of both of them, I think we could see the geothermal vent in both tours, right? Since you have dived in the Arnarnesstrytur Diving Tour, could you tell me 1)what’s the difference better Strytan and Arnaresstrytur? 2)Did you drink the hot chocolate made by the hot vent water??? LOL~ How does it taste like? 3) I only dive with Dry Suit once, is it good enough to take the dive tour? Thanks very much! Best, Ruohai
