As a Room Escape enthusiast, I just had to visit Makeitout, as I came to Vaasa.
I took 3 friends with me, and they had never tried Room Escape before.
The location was perfect in the centre of Vaasa, and the staff made us feel very welcome right from the beginning. The room was perfectly built, and worked well with the story.
Makeitout is a place you absolutely HAVE to visit, no matter if you are visiting or living in Vaasa!

Vaasa is a nice place, but a city that can't be accused of offering too many things to do. MakeItOutVaasa changes this!
MakeItOut offers two different escape rooms and me and two friends went for the (supposedly) easier one - which admittedly didn't mean that it was easy to get out, we barely did. The theme for this room is pirates and the way the room is set up gives you a genuine feeling of being on a pirate ship trying to get off a sinking boat!
The place is pretty much hand-built by the owner and there are some really cool puzzles to be solved. My best tip is to keep a cool head and FOCUS on the clues given :)
This is an absolutely fantastic way to spend an hour or two with friends or family and i warmly recommend it!

The experience was great. The puzzles were fun and challenging. The rooms were set up in a creative and innovative way. The founder was very friendly.

Incredible, so much work has gone into both rooms. Both Extremist and pirates of the future were super fun and very exciting. A very cool thing to do in town.

Tried to make it out with my wife. Very exciting experience. Escape room was well decorated and all the puzzles were very well designed. Decoration and "story" in the room were really good. Customer service was also top class. Highly recommended! We definitely will be back and try the other room also. Thanks for the experience.

I keep having to return to Vaasa due to work commitments, and the Makeitout room is one of the main reasons I'm truly looking forwards to these trips.
The Pirate room was the first game I gave a go, and it was the most well designed escape room I've ever been to. Super cool way to bring some excitement in your day. It's an absolutely fantastic way to spend some time with your colleagues or friends. The feeling of excitement and adrenaline will stay with you throughout the day.
Keep calm and focused, listen, look and feel for puzzles, gather all your information together, take the clues if your stuck for more than 10 minutes, otherwise you won't have enough time to get out.
The other room is also great and very well done, however - for me - it was way too difficult. Nevertheless a super hour, well spent money and again some great laughter with my colleagues.

Dudes got the makeitout experience for all of us. As we were first timers in an escape room, we all liked it. It took 4 minds to puzzle our way out. At first glance the room of the pirate ship seemed realistic as it had "windows" to look out to the sea and you could see all sorts of things in the windows. Any though we guys had never been together doing any such puzzles. It was interesting to see how everyone had their own ideas and ways to think.
All in all i would say "the more, the merrier". :o)
