Leisurely cruise on a goregous piece of Finnish history through the Finnish Archipelago between Turku and Naantali. Running commentary on the boat in both Finnish and English on the sights and history of the islands, ships, routes, villas and industries of the area. The ship has a bar and food plus books for sale on the ship and its history. Informed and friendly crew. All areas of the ship were clean and tidy! Child friendly. Well worth the trip!

Such a nice, calming and smooth cruise trough The beautiful archipelago. Excellent service and a nice touch for The captain to Be welcoming every guest on board. The right amount of guidance on some interesting view points. I recommend arriving early to the que, cause If The cruise is full, not everybody fits on The sundeck! And the deck is most definetly The place to Be. Me and My mom had only one-way tickets to Naantali, since there is also lots to see so we thought that two hours would have been too short visit there. Don't know about the food on board, we didn't feel the need for it, cause it takes two hours one-way and around Naantali harbour there is a lot of restaurants.

A great way to get a minibreak from the norm to the beautiful Archipelago scenery. UkkoPekka steam boat takes your mind away momentarily from the busy modern lifestyle with it's scenic route to the island of Loistokari with it's 140year old historic building. The evening meal is set up nicely on the island, however would like to see more choice on the menu in addition to the selection of different fish types (breaded fish, trout, bream, pickled and smoked herring) for people whom do not like fish (also found the fish choices a bit bland and tastless). Meats on offer were not exciting (smoky chicken pieces, bratwurst and some kind of "ryynimakkara". 😶 ). Because the meal setting is outdoors on a windy island, the food also cools down really fast on the plates, so perhaps more 'cold menu' choices would work better. Lettuce not the best idea on a windy island either 😂. Would be nice to see a 'nokipannu coffee' included on the island in the menu and perhaps water available to drink with the meal, rather than having to purchase it separately at a expensive cost of 4.50€ per 500ml bottle 😣. It was nice to see that the boat was not fully booked during the Corona-virus time, especially as by the time we cruised, the virus spread was accelerating in Varsinais-Suomi again. With the weather being pleasant, we were able to fully enjoy the outdoor top deck to take in all the scenery and keep our distance from everyone. The entertainment on the island is not to everyone's taste with it being cheesy traditional Finnish iskelmä dance music, but I guess it adds to the typical Finnish experience as a whole. 😄 The scenery makes up for the music... Staff were all extremely pleasant, so felt ourselves welcome throughout the whole cruise. Would definitely do this again at some point in the future.
