“Beautifully located shopping center”

This shopping center has got a facelift after our last visit years ago. It felt now much more modern. We were staying in the Ilves Hotel next to it. Now we needed a pharmacy and it was easy to find from here. If you want to do grocery shopping, the nearby Ratina Shopping Centre is better for that.

“Good ol shopping centre in the middle of Tampere”

Koskikeskus has been there since day one almost.:) There have been some renovations during the years. Mainly, you can find what you need there when shopping for clothes, shoes etc. There are also a few restaurants worth visiting and not forgetting the coffee shops. Used to be our meeting place as well when we were young.

We were staying in the Ilves Hotel next to it. Now we needed a pharmacy and it was easy to find from here.

If you want to do grocery shopping, the nearby Ratina Shopping Centre is better for that.

Good ol shopping centre in the middle of Tampere

Okay shopping centre
It tries to compete with the new Ratina shopping mall, but although they have done some renovations there it feels old and old fashionable. Still there are some nice shops where to visit, so I would recommend to visit both of the city centre shopping centres.

Nice Shopping Center
It's a nice shopping center with a lot of shops. Friendly atmosphere for a relaxed shopping in the heart of Tampere.

Good shopping centre
Many shops and places to eat and have coffee. Good parking hall, reasonable priced. Location is very close to the city center, walking distance to the river. If you travel by car, you can leave your car in the parking hall and take a walk around the beautiful surroundings and river.

Basic shopping center
Quite normal shopping center close to the main street of the city. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from.

Usual Shopping Mall
Your mandatory mall that is in pretty much in every city of Finland. Shops, restaurants, cafes, multiplex etc. Koskikeskus is a good place to shop, spend/kill time or just hangout. We visited the place while looking for coffee and quick bite to eat.

Excellent shopping centre
This is a gigantic shopping centre which has all of the very popular shops like for example: Stadium,inter sports and HM.

Basic shopping mall
Good location in the city centre, relatively near to the railway station and almost every city bus goes by. Good variety of different shops, restaurants and cafeterias, there are even a medical clinic and a movie theater. Then again the place is not so special and it's not so comfortable to spend time - that's due to so much youth used to hang out there causing upset to people. But basic and ok place where you can buy your stuff and calm your hunger.
