Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loviisan merenkulkumuseo (also known as Naval Museum of Loviisa and Lovisa sjöfartsmuseum) is located in the guest harbor, Laivasilta. The exhibition consists of two floors but it is quite small. However, it is very interesting. Unfortunately most texts are in only in Finnish and Swedish. Only some texts are in English, e.g. details of s/s Virgo. The museum is very idyllic and a family ticket is cheap. I hope that many people want to visit this interesting museum.

Quite a nice tiny museum in the small harbour of Loviisa. Surraunded by little cafe’s and walking areas.

... requires to understand Finnish or Swedish to understand what you would see.
The museum is lovely and I am happy to help them by paying their entrance fee cash ! Yep cash and only cash !!! In Finland, this looks nearly like the an exception which might even refrain few visitors.

The collection is depicting the maritime history of the area which was intense. Lot of artefacts and lot of reading (if you can!).

Add cards payment and English comments, and I will add one star with pleasure at my next visit.
