Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This house will be visited from further afield. Cafe / canteen on a flat lunch dining level. Guided tours worth a visit - available in several languages, guides professional. Interiors/exteriors worth seeing ...

Some of the porters could be more friendly and take their customers into account: indoors, the sound of conversation and the voice of the conversation carries farther than you think - the criticism and other unnecessary buzz of fellow human beings could be left at home ...

The park and the City Hall are located half-way when you are climbing from the Railway Station to the city center.

This Jugend-style building is designed by the renowned architect Eliel Saarinen. It was built in 1912.

City Hall is the hub for decision-making in Lahti, housing the functions related to the city's governance and development.

We didn't go inside. There was a sign that you have to register yourself to the doorman.

If you arrival in Lahti by train, and walking through the Rautatienkatu to center, then you will see it on your left hand side, during summer time, the city hall has few time open to public so you can go inside to visit. The new year fireword usually will show from there.

Its size is impressive, considering that it was built in the beginning of the 20th century while Lahti was no bigger than a village. Although the use of the building has changed a lot over time, it's architecture has not been damaged.

Took my family here basically because it's one of he oldest buildings in Lahti and the view is quite nice. Probably wouldn't go back unless I was taking a visitor.

Lahti City Hall is a wonderful piece of famous Finnish architect Eliel Saarinen. It was built 1912, and has similar elements like Helsinki Main Railway Station and Joensuu City Hall, also designed by Eliel Saarinen.

The building is used by the Lahti City Council and other staff from Lahti City.

Guided tours are available on order from Tuesday to Friday from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. There is lunch restaurant Tyrmä (Dungeon) on the basement floor.
