The sound of Music

The impressive wooden concert- and congress centre. The acoustic characteristics are further improved through the careful selection of furniture and materials.

Sibelius hall is concert hall for all kind of music from sinfony to rock concerts. The acustic desing is one of the best in Europe and can be adjusted according to the performed music. The architectural desing of building is also interesting.

I've been here for classical concerts, rock concerts, solo or a huge orchestral concerts, musical, stand up comedy, etc, and the experience is always so very pleasant. The sound reproduction and the structure of the main concert hall does their magic every time. I'm not surprised that Sibelius Hall is ranked high among the greatest concert halls in world.

During this business trip, I could visit Sibelius hall at Lahti when we are back to Helsinki from Varkaus. I just can see inside of Sibelius hall building, but I can not go inside of real concerto hall due to concert. It is quite nice hall with linked to old brick house. Location is good near to lake mixed with... More

The Sibelius Hall is defenitely an acoustic wonder! You can hear even the piano pianissimo and the details of the music. It is the home of Sinfonia Lahti, local symphony orchestra praised for its Sibelius. But they do play well the music of other composers. The concert hall has a unique structure, lot of wood but the facade being made... More

Through the years we've enjoyed concerts in this amazing building. You find lots of interesting details in interior, first to mention star map of the day Jean Sibelius was born on ceiling of Metsähalli. Beautiful scenery no matter what time of the year.

Tables uncleand, messy food, employees more interested in everything else than customers. Additionally the space resembles more a gym than a cozy lunch place. I can not recommend !
