Häränsilmä is a small kettle lake, which has been a nature preserve since 1983. The kettle lake is a relic of the last Ice Age. It is situated only 1.5 kilometres from the market square. So it is easy to walk there. There are beautiful walking and jogging paths (cross-country skiing tracks in winter) around the kettle lake, too.
