Booked last minute as we were in Lahti for a long weekend for the Ironman. Excellent communication via email. I booked an hour hack, which included walk, trot and canter with some small cross country jumps along a trail around the perimeter of their land. We then did a small course of jumps in one of their arenas. I didn’t see much of the local countryside but it was fun to do some jumping which I don’t do much of at home. I was well paired with the horse they provided who didn’t put a toe out of line. Jyrki lead the ride and provided good instruction in English. All in all great fun and I was well looked after. The horses and stabling etc looked very well looked after and in good order.

I really enjoyed my visit to this riding school. Active stable, well-groomed horses. There is an indoor arena, a large sandy parade ground, a grass parade ground with cross-country obstacles (banquet, pit, logs, etc.) On the territory of the stables there is a safe route for horseback riding, passing by fields and levadas, through the forest, where you can often see hares and roe deer or with. Suitable for beginners and inexperienced riders, children. For experienced ones, along the same route you can find cross-country obstacles, including water ones. I really liked it, I will definitely visit this place :)

Okeroinen Stable has alots of outdoor space for its horses, and great outdoor-riding routes. Very beautiful place to enjoy some outdoor sports in Finnish nature. The stable itself was very clean and organized, and the horses were well-trained. The owner of the place managed to choose right horses for me and my friends based on our previous experiences.

Okeroinen Stables offers top-notch facilities and a professional atmosphere. Their horses are well-cared for and happy, and they provide lessons for all riding levels. Active paddock where horses live in herds outside of lesson hours, living a natural life as a herd. Horses are not overworked lesson horses, but rather gentle, active, and willing to cooperate. Most horses are Original Finnhorses.
