About
Yli-Marola 4H City Farm is a cultural heritage landmark in Lahti. The farm is still commanding the main building, barn, stable and sauna building. In the yard you can see a wide spectrum of different domestic animals. In the yard there are also the Theater, 4H products sell and Cafe Kilipukki. There is a voluntary entrance fee for the yard. Open to the public between 25 May and 18 August.

Luogo sicuramente carino per bambini, che possono avere l'occasione di vedere dal vivo alcuni animali da fattoria.
D'altra parte, guardando con occhio consapevole, ci si rende conto che la maggior parte degli animali ha pochissimo spazio in cui stare. Soprattutto cani, gatti e galline non possono fare più di pochi passi.
È molto triste vedere dei gatti, che potrebbero girare liberi nel verde di Lathi, essere costretti a stare in una gabbia così piccola...
Le galline erano davvero sacrificate e i cani sembravano in una gabbia del canile...
L'idea sarebbe carina, potendo però garantire più spazio a tutti gli animali.

Marolan kotieläinpiha on erinomainen kohde etenkin lapsiperheille. Siellä pääsee helposti tutustumaan eläimiin ja niiden hoitamiseen. Paikassa järjestetään myös 4H-kerhon kursseja koulujen loma-aikoina.
