I Went to fountain show 3 times at 18.00, loved it every time, the park looks amazing but the music was the same

I read the TA reviews but couldn't arrive to Lahti before 6 PM. So I went to dinner and read the leaflet which VisitLAHTI has published. And there I saw that the performances are in wintertime at 7 PM. What a pity, I could have made it.
The musical show is carried out without the coloured lights in the summertime when nights are bright.

This musical fountain or water organ is located in Kariniemi park next to Pikku-Vesijärvi.
It was built by a Lahti-based energy company in 1997.
Usually, there are 15-minute shows that consist of music and spectacular water jets. The music is from movies, musicals, and other well-known classics.
At the moment probably because of the pandemic, the shows are paused but you can still admire the fountain.

Colours and music, especially during darkness give a little bit of extra to your evening stroll. A small piece of art, but a nice one.

If you like to sit down and relax for 20 minutes listening to varied music and watch water fountain show, this is something you could go and do. It is short walking distance from city center.
