Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really cool indoor playground. Tons of things to keep the kids engaged and free wi fi. We went on a weekday morning in June so it was not crowded at all. Trampolines were a big hit. Enclosed toddler area had lots of engaging things including a walk on piano.
The place just kept going - basketball and football in the back of the play area, foam cannons up top and lots of different slides including an inter tube one. My daughter had a blast.
It was a little tough to find - we asked at the market and we had to follow the signs for a gym. (In all fairness I can't read Finnish so maybe the sign has the info - but if you call yourself Helsinki Playground - please put that on the sign above ground.) 😊

Leikkiluola (= cave for playing) has had a complete facelift and has become very good indeed! It’s a great spontaneous activity on a rainy/cold day – or when you want to treat your kids.

Leikkiluola houses e.g. exciting and fun slides and climbing challenges for kids = lots of good exercise. The best age, depending on how agile and brave the child is, is from ca. 4 years and up to ca. 10-11 years.

There is also an area for toddlers only.

There are sofas for parents (and a café), and the noise level wasn’t nearly as bad as it often is in such places. The area is compact so you can easily keep an eye on your kids, yet there is enough stuff to do to keep them busy for to 2 or 3 hours at least.

In the same facility there is also a sport center Arena Center Hakaniemi that houses sports activities for adults and older kids.

Leikkiluola is centrally located right by the Hakaniemi market square and next to public transportation. It is an underground facility (hence the name). If you come with your own car, there is parking facility, too.

There is a small café right by the Leikkiluola for simple meals for kids and some snacks and soft drinks. However, I recommend that once you are tired of playing, you visit the Hakaniemen halli or the nearby restaurants for proper meal.
