The sales assistants are unable to match the pattern of the fabric properly, so I would suggest to purchase your Marimekko fabrics from a franchiser or someone who knows how to get the pattern match right. Very disapponted for the quality of the service at Marimekko shops.

Yes it is an outlet. It does not have outlet prices. You would think that items would be sold at relatively low prices compared to retail, but you would be wrong. Also the day we visited, half of the store was closed for inventory.

As a tourist from China, the prices at the factory outlet were very good! If you're a Marimekko fan you must visit this place. There are a few bargains to be found and the opportunity to claim tax-free makes it even cheaper. I wish I had bought more suitcases over so I could buy more. The staff were friendly and... More

Lovely outlet with friendly and helpful staff. Wish I could afford to get more of their lovely stuff. Definitely there will be things within an average tourist's budget. Recommended to get some mementoes from here.

Expensive clothes but really lovely designs and fabrics. Also do crockery and accessories. Worth a purchase as a memento from Finland!

One of a number of official Marimekko shops. Still very expensive but who knows, you might get lucky and hit a sale. We did!

I have loved Marimekko since 1965. The first "art" I ever bought was a piece of the Toucans fabric stretched out like a canvas. The outlet did not disappoint although like most outlets there is not a full range of clothing sizes. The average discount is 30% but if you spend at least €40, you can get the VAT back... More

This factory shop is in industrial area so there are no other interesting things to experience. Easy access by car or metro. Good service but the pkace can get busy at times. I would have scored higher I was more interested in what Marimekko manufacturers and sells.

The picture provided on TA is not from the Factory Outlet Store. The store is located in eastern Helsinki (metro stop Herttoniemi, some 500 metres away). The prices are bit lower than those in the flagship store in the centre of Helsinki and there are seconds and fabric remnants, too. If you see Japanese walking in this part of Helsinki... More

The design pride of the country! Marimekko has always been something special in this country. They make clothes for women, men, and children, bags, curtains... you name it! Bright colors and nice designs. The prices are not kind though. Japanese love this place :-)
