About
FURUVIK RANTASAUNA - FURUVIK SEASIDE SAUNA is located in Laajasalo, about 8 km from the Central Railway station of Helsinki. It is easy to arrive there by public transportation, by car or by boat. Parking is free of charge. Furuvik Seaside Sauna has public sauna shifts (unisex and women's) and it can be rented also privately for own group. Sauna is open all year round and you can take a dip in the sea both in summer and also in winter. The stove room in Furuvik Seaside sauna can accommodate up to 12 people. The shower room has two showers and a small dressing room. There is also a separate dressing room with safety lockers, hairdryer and hair and skin products. In the atmospheric Seaside Sauna you can arrange various events. The facilities are perfect for workplace recreation days, birthday parties, bachelor parties and casual weekend brunches. Delicious catering can be ordered through us, or you can bring your own treats and drinks. There is a hot tub available by request. Grill.

The löyly (steam) in this sauna is just as brilliant as its views over the water. Have been multiple times now as it's such an inviting place, and all round a very relaxing experience. If you're looking for an icy dip in the winter, this sauna is perfect for that too! Recommend it to absolutely everyone.

First sauna on New Year's Day! 🤗
It felt too good 😊
Reservations are required, so it feels like a private sauna, and it's nice that it's not too crowded!
You can enjoy the sauna in peace, with the Baltic Sea right in front of you!
The sauna is an electric sauna, with just the right temperature (about 100 degrees) you can jump straight into the Baltic Sea!
It feels so great and so good! 😆😆😆
There are also amenities such as slippers and shampoo, and you can take a shower and leave.

This is a magical place! Well worth the trip just outside the city center. The views are simply amazing and the peaceful Finnish vibe will beg you to return. The sauna and resting areas are clean and well-appointed. A dip in the refreshing sea is a must. This sauna is on top of the list for good reason!

We had an expectation of a spa/sauna 'centre' and were at first surprised by the place, which is simple (dryerless, shared changing room), but that only made the experience even greater. A completely local small sauna right down to the water and a jetty so you can jump into the sea in the Finnish archipelago. No tourists and very local - we actually had the place to ourselves for an hour, which was absolutely fantastic and gave us the opportunity to enjoy the peace and nature. Can absolutely recommend the place and that you go there as early in the day as possible to avoid too many people. We felt we got a bite of the real Finland :)

The scenes of sea looking out of the window of sauna is really beautiful.
There is one changing room for unisex but I could change clothes with no trouble. Atmospheres were full of hospitality and it was a nice experience. I borrowed towel and bath robe but it might not needed.
This place is not so well known with us Japanese but my friend living in Helsinki recommended the place so I got to know it. I would like to recommend this sauna for the people who want to spend calm time near the sea.

Furuvik rantasauna is an absolute gem where you can feel the Finnish sauna culture with a twist of natural luxury. Besides the magnificent sauna, there is a possibility to go swim in the sea year round. We came out of it totally relaxed and reborn and even being very experienced sauna goers it felt like a different and new experience. If possible, I recommend taking the time slot beginning at 11:30 on a sunny day: the sun shone beautifully into the sauna from the large windows. Unforgettable experience and a perfect little get away from the city life!

As a Helsinki citizen I have had the possibility to vitsit Furuvik Rantasauna in all possible seasons and weathers, and wether it has been Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, I have truly enjoyed the experience. The view from the sauna is awsome, and the surroundings with the historical buildings is just something very special. What is even more, the sauna has one of the best löyly in Helsinki.
I highly recommend this place with its picturesque surroundings and lovely hostesses for turists and locals alike.

A beautiful location, which feels much more remote than it actually is. The sauna is so well equipped, and has a lovely view over the water. We booked a two hour private session and felt it was well worth the money. This was one of the highlights of our holiday in Scandinavia.

Very authentic sauna spot offering possibilities to go to sauna private or open. Staff is always nice and flexible. The beach sauna is literally top of the sea and perfectly directed to watch sunset. Swimming can't easier accessed and has very good steps for winter dipping in the icy water (avanto). My favourite sauna spot in Helsinki.

Villa Furuvik and the sauna by the beach are both just perfection. You feel like your far away from hustle of the city even though it’s just 20 minutes from the center and you can truly relax. Me and a group of friends had a great night relaxing in the sauna and palju. Will definitely come back in the winter for some ice swimming and sauna. ✨
