Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very uncomfortable place. The mall is too large for any sense of direction and the stores, and parking are expensive. The issue no one mentions are the social problems and loiterers - made worse by the metro station. Sello is a far better choice in Espoo.

We wanted to see the new metro line from Matinkylä to Kivenlahti and stopped here for lunch. Metro is the most convenient and easiest way to arrive here.

It was our first time here and we were a little bit lost. We wanted to find the Rosso restaurant but the info screens didn't show it. After a search, we finally found the restaurant.

This place is full of shops and restaurants. You can find also grocery stores, the Finnkino cinema, and the Dudesons Activity Park.

Big Apple is the equivalent of eastern Itis for people living around the Espoo shores. During the past year some outlets have changed retailers but the general impression is business as usual ensured by two big supermarkets downstairs. The metro soon to be extended to Kivenlahti brings many customers now as they have to change to the local bus here. The location by the thoroughfare Länsiväylä was originally chosen to be easily reached by private car. The three cities Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa form the Capital District yet people living in the wealthiest part of Espoo seldom need to visit Helsinki for their shopping.

The shopping mall has has all the usual shopping outlets, cafes, restaurants and cinema. It is well connected with metro (The last stop on the metro line) and bus. Also parking is reasonably priced + first 2 hours are free. Its good place to spend time with family and friends.

Quite a big shopping center with a lot of shops, food court and a very big parking downstairs. 3 supermarkets and a mini hospital.

Just more of the same chains which are found in all the other malls around the area. They charge for parking so the goal is rush in, buy quickly and run out. Just give us your money and we don't care about customer happiness or comfort.
I quickly use the library and get quickly out. I buy my food and clothes elsewhere.

One thing the Finns do well is centralising services and shops around a hub so that people don't have to travel as far in order to get things done. Iso Omena is a classic example; it has lots of great shops, restaurants and bars, three supermarkets (K-Market, Prisma and Lidl), and also has a Metro station and bus station at the southern end. Up on the top level is also a library, medical centres and also the Kela (social security) offices. Ideal.

I would not recommend going to iso omena on a Saturday, the parking is a nightmare. Every entrance to get in was backed up & it took us almost an hour of queuing to get out. Parking services were useless & did nothing to help with the flow of traffic. It was insane & so very dangerous. God knows what would happen there if there was a fire. Just don't go, is all I can suggest!

I had been here recently. A very big mall with very good connectivity by bus/metro /car. Huge car parking. Parking free for four hours and beyond it is charged. Many leading brand stores and 2 big supermarkets and a big food court are there. Film theatres also there. Always crowded.
