Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The lush nature and flowing water make this park an idyllic place to spend time. Small brooks and waterways divide the area into smaller and larger islands.

The Museum of Northern Ostrobothnia and Oulu Art Museum can be found here.

The Ainolan Puisto (Ainola Park) consists of several islands (known as Hupisaaret) connected by idyllic white bridges and criss-crossed by small ponds and brooks. In my opinion this is one of the best city parks in Finland, a well maintained, large, relaxing green oasis.
You can find it on the banks of the river, below the power plant dam.
Inside the park there is a playground, a summer theatre, some greenhouses, and also a fishway built to allow salmons to bypass the hydroelectric dam !

A place where you will appreciate the charm of this city of Oulu, no matter if you come in spring, summer, autumn or winter. Spend at least two hours (except in winter) just by watching the ducks and streams.

The park is centrally situated just By the river. It was still snow in the park when I visited, but I can imagine that it must be very popular in the summer time as there's a nice play ground for the kids. Even in the winter I was happy to see that they'd kept thee main tracks free from snow so I could have a pleasant Morning run there. There's several bridges from the park leading over the river from where you could admire the surrounding.

It's a stunningly beautiful park in the inner city with creeks and bridges over them. There's a playground, an ice-cream truck and even a greenhouse.

Breathtaking views with endless mazes of bridges and rivers which look fantastic in the summer months. So peaceful and relaxing to take a walk along this route.

The Ainola park is located on one of the Hupisaaret islands, near the city center of Oulu. The North Ostrobothnia museum and a children's playground are located at the park.
