We saw only inside part due to winter. It's a very nice botanical garden - plenty of unusual and beautiful plants, many of them with flowers. Was a delight to watch it in winter because I was missing green plants and flowers.

It is nice place to visit. This was my 3rd time. The greenhouse has small entrance fee, but the outside garden is free. It is very well kept and you can see all kinds of herbs and vegetables. Also flowers, trees and other plants are named in Finnish and in Latin and the place of it´s origin is mentioned. It is much more visitor friendly and bigger than the botanical garden in Helsinki. They also arrange guided tours for groups, which costs money and you have to arrange it by phone before the trip.

Cool place where you can see lot of different flowers, trees and other plants from all around the world. Very nice.

The greenhouses were closed (coronavirus) so only the outside was open. The gardens are spacious and nice. They are not very well laid out or signposted as I followed a path that took me outside the gardens and then I had to walk round the whole thing on the outside back to the entrance to get in again. There is a nice lake but some of the gardens are overgrown in places.

This place is a ''must visit'' in Oulu - and good to visit on a monthly basis so you can enjoy the changing flora and fauna. Take your camera, maybe even a picnic, and enjoy a stroll around the gardens.

Lovely place to visit if you like flora and interested in plants. I went on a cold winter day, hence the outdoor area wasn't offering any sights, however being in the nice & warm greenhouses, felt great after the minus temperatures.
Big choice of plants and flowers to view and learn about. You'll see the names in English and also in Latin languages. Entrance fee is 3 Euros for the Greenhouses. Mondays are closed.
A nice stroll away from the city centre through beautiful forrest walks.
